Welcome to Rotary International of Portage, Wisconsin.

We are proud of the camaraderie of our members, and hope that you can see the friendships we share at our luncheon and social gatherings. We hope that membership in this club is helpful to our members personally and professionally.

Community friendships are only one part of our purpose. As part of Rotary International we focus on "SERVICE ABOVE SELF". Our club members support the world wide program, "Polio Plus". In this major undertaking, Rotary International provides immunizations against polio in underprivileged countries.

On the local level, our club has been the sponsor of three scholarships at Portage High School for graduating seniors. Portage Rotary provides the largest single 4-year local scholarship at the high school.  Additionally two other scholarships for College and Technical School are given.  We give $10,000 in total scholarships each year.  Raising money to fund these scholarships is one of our major club projects each year. The money is raised through an annual raffle at the Taste of Portage and the annual Hoe Down in October.

At our weekly meetings we do "HAPPY BUCKS" to support our Youth Exchange Program.  We are excited that in 2022-23 we will once again sponsor a student at PHS.  Prior to Covid, we had a student every two years.  We love have a youth exchange student.  We are currently looking for three host families.  If you are interested, contact Josh Sween.

We are excited to announce that we joined the Wisconsin Dells Rotary Club for an International Exchange project, providing equipment for a dental office on a Greek Island.  We're excited to extend our service beyond the US.

Thank you for your interest in Portage Rotary. We hope to see you soon. For more information, come to our weekly meeting at Dino's Restaurant at noon.
